Composting turns waste into a resource, building soil health and cutting methane emissions from landfills. I will compost food scraps at home, school, or in my community, which avoids sending up to 0.42 lbs (0.19 kg) of food waste to the landfill per day.

COMPLETED 1

Last day of Ecochallenge 🌱 Grateful for this experience. I learned so much through small daily actions, about waste, health, and how little changes really add up. It’s been eye-opening and motivating. Thank you for the inspiration to do better, one step at a time. 💚

I shared resilience as my ability to adapt through change while staying grounded in my values and sense of direction 🌿🧭✨. I chose it because it reflects how I try to handle uncertainty without losing my footing.

Resilience, to me, is staying flexible when life doesn’t go to plan, and finding a way forward without losing yourself. 🌿😌 It’s less about bouncing back, more about adapting and growing through it.
And when you practice that, the result is a calm, steady state, like a still lake 🏞️,grounded even when everything around you is moving. 🌊 What does it mean to you? 💭
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I learned that climate change is making water more unpredictable here. The heavier rain leading to flooding, while drier periods will strain our systems. 💧🌧️ It shifted my view of resilience to being about preparedness and adaptability, not just having water, but managing it wisely as conditions change.

Seeing people genuinely connect and share real smiles, I know that I helped create a space where everyone felt comfortable 🤍✨
However, as an introvert, the energy drain was real 😅, so I always need to plan ahead, keep things simple, and give myself short breaks 🌿. That balance made it enjoyable instead of overwhelming 🙂
