Plastic in Clothing and Water

Synthetic clothing can contain plastic and shed harmful microplastics into our water. I will use a microplastics catcher in my laundry, or install a microplastics filter for my washing machine.

I did an energy audit of my home and learned that while I'm already pretty minimal with my energy use, there are always small ways to use a little bit less electricity, including unplugging unused appliances and turning off lights during the day. We also try to limit using our large appliances (washing machine/dryer) to off-peak hours.
