Road transportation is one of the largest sources of air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions globally (~12%). Alternative modes of transportation can have a significant impact in reducing the negative impacts of internal combustion and drive systemic change. I will take an alternative mode of transportation like (e)bike, bus or light rail for at least one trip that I would have used my (gasoline or diesel) car for.

    Honestly, being consistent with exercise isn’t as easy as it sounds 😅. Some days I don’t feel like it, but little by little you get used to it. I don’t always do a lot, but just not quitting already feels like a win 💪✨

      There’s a very simple technique that can help you get started without overthinking: the 5 Second Rule.
      Every time you have the thought of exercising, instead of letting your mind come up with excuses, you count backwards 5-4-3-2-1 and move right away.
      For example, if you’re sitting down and thinking about going for a run, once you finish the countdown you stand up and put on your sneakers.
      It’s not about doing the whole workout in 5 seconds, but about taking the first step before laziness shows up.

    Exercising each day helped me feel stronger, more energized, and more balanced mentally. It reduced stress and improved my mood. I especially enjoy getting on the treadmill, listening to music, and taking that time to focus on myself. Activities like walking outdoors and light workouts made me feel more flexible, capable, and better able to adapt to daily challenges.

    I feel more active and energized, and it has also helped me discover other healthy recipes that are just as delicious.
