    During lunch hour, walk to nearby stores when shopping for just a few things, rather than drive. Better for environment and get exercise too!

    First time, ignorance killed strawberry plants. Second time, planted 12 strawberry, bare root seedlings, indoors, with grow light. Planning to transplant when plants grow some more and weather warms. Researched how to plant and nurture, for this time around.

    I didn't think about the large carbon footprint increase by air travel. Upon, reflection, it makes sense. For my family, some shorter trips can be made by ground transportation or rail.
