    • 17-DAY STREAK
As this month comes to a close, I look back with gratitude and satisfaction on the past weeks, during which I delved deeply into the world of environmental protection. I explored numerous commitments and environmental topics that not only enriched me with new knowledge but also reinforced the importance of taking responsibility for the future of our planet.

This month reminded me that every small step counts: whether it's selective waste collection, reducing energy consumption, or conscious purchasing. These simple, everyday decisions contribute to building a more sustainable future.

I am grateful to have been part of this inspiring journey again this year. I trust that the knowledge and experiences I have gained will not only shape me but also have a positive impact on my environment. I will continue my dedicated work in the field of environmental protection and hope that more and more people will join this important mission.

I am very grateful for this month, thank you

    • 17-DAY STREAK
Today I would like to write about an important topic that I struggle with every day: not drinking enough fluids! What a simple thing, yet not everyone can do it!

💡 Tips to Increase Daily Water Intake
    - Carry a Reusable Water Bottle: Having water readily available encourages regular sipping throughout the day.
    - Set Reminders: Use smartphone alarms or apps to prompt you to drink water at regular intervals.
    - Infuse with Natural Flavors: Add slices of lemon, cucumber, or berries to your water for a refreshing taste.
    - Incorporate Water-Rich Foods: Consume fruits and vegetables with high water content, such as watermelon, cucumbers, and lettuce.
    - Link to Daily Activities: Make it a habit to drink a glass of water before meals, after bathroom breaks, or during routine tasks.

The NHS recommends aiming for 6 to 8 cups or glasses of fluid daily, which includes water, lower-fat milk, and sugar-free drinks. However, individual needs may vary based on factors like activity level, climate, and overall health. By prioritizing hydration, you support your body's vital functions and contribute to overall well-being.

💧 10 Reasons to Drink More Water Daily
    Supports Heart and Circulatory Health
Adequate hydration helps maintain proper blood viscosity, making it easier for the heart to pump blood and reducing the risk of cardiovascular issues.

    Improves Digestion and Prevents Constipation
Water aids in breaking down food and facilitates the smooth passage of waste through the digestive tract, helping to prevent constipation.

    Reduces Headache Frequency
Dehydration can lead to headaches. Staying well-hydrated ensures better oxygen flow to the brain, potentially reducing headache occurrences.

    Aids in Weight Management
Drinking water before meals can promote a feeling of fullness, leading to reduced calorie intake. Additionally, water can boost metabolism, supporting weight loss efforts.

    Enhances Skin Health
Proper hydration keeps the skin moisturized, improving its elasticity and appearance, and may reduce the visibility of wrinkles.

    Supports Kidney Function
Water helps flush toxins from the body through the kidneys, reducing the risk of kidney stones and urinary tract infections.

    Boosts Energy and Mental Clarity
Since the brain is composed largely of water, staying hydrated can enhance concentration, alertness, and overall cognitive function.

    Regulates Body Temperature
Water plays a crucial role in thermoregulation, helping to maintain a stable body temperature through processes like sweating.

    Lubricates Joints
Adequate water intake ensures that joints remain well-lubricated, reducing discomfort and improving mobility.

    Prevents Urinary Tract Infections
Regular water consumption dilutes urine and ensures frequent urination, which helps flush bacteria from the urinary tract.

Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and moths are essential to our daily lives. They help produce one in every three bites of food we eat, including fruits, vegetables, and nuts . Bees play a crucial role in pollinating crops such as apples, strawberries, and tomatoes .

To support pollinators and ensure they continue to thrive, consider these simple actions:

Plant a variety of nectar-rich flowers: Choose plants that bloom at different times of the year to provide a continuous food source .

Let your garden grow wild: Allowing patches of your garden to grow naturally can create habitats for pollinators .

Mow your lawn less frequently: This encourages the growth of wildflowers that pollinators rely on .

Avoid disturbing insect nests and hibernation spots: Preserving these areas supports the life cycles of pollinators .

Reduce pesticide use: Limiting or eliminating pesticides helps protect pollinators from harmful chemicals .

By taking these steps, you can contribute to the health of pollinator populations and, in turn, support the ecosystems and food sources we depend on.

We cleaned up the area around our plant from trash. A lot of construction waste, tyres, and household waste and cigarette butts were thrown away. It's outrageous that we deface the beauty of nature with garbage. Why does anyone think they have the right to pollute our environment like this?! The cleared area is a meadow and a small wood area where several animals live: roe deer, foxes, deer, hares.
