    Nature to me means joy and being in nature is about taking the time to notice the beauty and joy around you... but those moments are around you every day. Today, we biked over to a kid's lemonade stand. No, we did not know them but I sort of make it a "rule" to never ignore one and it got this "I'm tired" girl out and about. CHEERS!

    I ran but my daughter and her friends volunteered at a race benefitting TreesCharlotte today. The non-profit works to preserve the city's tree canopy - TreesCharlotte | Tree Canopy Conservation | Charlotte NC Nonprofit. The next generation is already on it!

    I saw someone post about reusable shopping bags and wanted to share an idea. I keep this nylon one in my purse so always have one if pop into the pharmacy or somewhere quickly. Bonus, it can handle more weight then a plastic bag. Go get yourself one! :-) Happy Earth Day!

      I have 4 or 5 reusable Chicobags that always keep in the car. The trick is folding them back after carrying groceries into the house, and putting them next to your car keys to take with you back to the car!

    I am running in a local 8k road race next weekend to benefit "TreesCharlotte" who help maintain the tree canopy here in Charlotte, NC. Last year I took home a baby sapling to plant at home! Prepping an area for one this year.
