I was able to visit and learn about a site near the place where I recently moved to. I recently moved to Emeryville, and I am so grateful for this challenge, because it really pushed me to explore in ways I might not have otherwise done! I visited the Emeryville Shellmound (a nearby street is named after it!) which is a former Ohlone burial ground. It is so awe inspiring since it was a vital part of the Ohlone people's culture for centuries, I am amazed to see historical artifacts in the modern day.

My recent favorite health and wellness resource is an app called Runna! I have loved running for a few years now (hated it in high school!) and recently I've been trying to track my progress in order to make incremental improvements. The app runna has been creating a plan for me and helping guide my progress. It does cost money, but I've been using the free trial for the last couple of weeks, and then I'll see if I decide to keep the paid version lol!

Happy Tuesday all! Today I'd like to share with you a resource I have been using during this challenge. Each day, I have been finding and contacting a government official to share my concern for our forests and wetlands.
