    Several appliances (like the microwave, TV, and chargers) were drawing phantom power even when turned off.

    My home’s lighting still relied heavily on older, less efficient bulbs.

    Switch to LED lighting throughout the home.

    Unplug unused electronics or use smart power strips to cut phantom loads.
