  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet? What fruits or vegetables did you try this week, and which was your favorite?

By eating more fruits and veggies over meat or other types of snacks, I noticed I felt less bogged down physically. I also feel good about my reduced carbon footprint since fruits and veggies take up less water than meat.
I’ve gotten in the habit of making daily fruit smoothies for my family and I, which has been such a great addition to our diets. Also mango popsicles are a big hit with all of us!

Walking each day helped both me and my daughter appreciate spring and feel more emotionally regulated. I noticed a stark difference in our moods on the days we didn’t get outside and I plan to continue this part of the challenge.
