Understand My Water Footprint
Each of us has a water footprint, directly linked to our daily activities as well as the water required in the production of things we use each day. Understanding our water use is important for a healthy planet. I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste, then share what I learned on the feed.
Personal
Write in a Resilience Journal
Reflection helps us adapt and grow. I will spend 5 minutes writing in a journal about challenges I face, the strengths I use, and what helps me thrive.
Take the Pre-Survey
Take the Pre-Event Survey
I’ll take a short pre-survey to share what motivated me to join — and earn 15 points! (If I already took the survey by email, I’ll just mark this action complete to get my points.)

Reduce Refined Sugar
Cutting back on refined sugar can improve energy, mood, and overall health. I will limit my intake of sugary snacks and drinks by reducing refined sugar in meals or snacks each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now? What was the most challenging part of reducing refined sugar, and how did you overcome it?
Katie Krokroskia 4/21/2026 11:28 AMBefore I started this challenge, I wouldn't say I was addicted to sugar, but I definitely had created a habit of eating something with refined sugar every night. The hardest part is getting out of the habit of it, so instead I've swapped refined sugar for natural sugars, like eating an apple or mandarin at night. It's still a challenge daily, and I'm not perfect, but I've noticed my food noise is quieter now. -

Been having a rough week with my anxiety, making sure I do my gratitude journaling every day has really helped me stay present and focus on what I can control. This correlates to what we are learning about with social movements; even small actions done over time can lead to a positive impact for yourself and your community. I know I'm way more present and in a better mood when I stick to my daily habits, which in turn makes me a more productive and positive member of society. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalHow did reflecting on your experiences, strengths, or challenges shape the way you think about your ability to adapt and grow?
Katie Krokroskia 4/03/2026 11:00 AM- Book Lover 📚
Reflecting on my strengths has helped me have gratitude on the week I had and be grateful that I stayed positive throughout the week, even with multiple obstacles.
