Overall, this month I was more thoughtful about things like waste and sustainability, and made a bigger effort to reduce my impact. I have a stronger awareness of my family's water consumption, and while I don't see our needs changing a whole lot in the immediate future with regard to water, we are definitely able to work even harder to produce less trash. My kids enjoyed the emphasis on learning about plants, and they'll tell you all about how we breathe and trees breathe together. It was a big success!

I haven't been doing a great job checking in daily, but it's been on my mind, and especially while on vacation I made a big effort learn about local plants & wildlife, and get my kids involved too. As an added bonus, because they see me pick up litter, now my kids do it too!

I picked up three pieces of trash on my most recent walk! And, with the springtime weather, I'm making a point to talk to me kids about how the world around them is changing and growing.
