    Day 30 Fact:
    The earth is currently in a climate crisis. From carbon emissions to rising sea levels to extreme weather events (e.g., drought, flooding, hurricanes, etc.), nature is being threatened due to unsustainable human practices.

    The solution? Sustainable development to maintain current needs while still preserving nature and its resources for the future. This means learning more about green technology, renewable energy sources and practices that prioritize our forests, land and water.

    Day 29 Fact:
    An astonishing 5 trillion plastic bags are used globally every year. Switching to reusable grocery bags could dramatically reduce this number.

    Key Facts I learned and got to know included: the three dimensions of sustainability, how the dimensions of sustainability interrelate, the similarities and difference between ESG, sustainability and CSR, difference between nature-based and engineered carbon removal solutions, measuring energy efficiency, & difference between conversion devices and passive systems.

    Despite advances in clean and renewable energy sources, 83% of global energy still comes from fossil fuels. It would take 18.5 billion solar panels to produce enough energy to power the whole of the United States.

    Educating Girls-BBC NEWS & Every girl deserves education:
    Shows how over a long period have thought girls to be a lability and have been married at a very young age especially in remote areas, needs to be changed and a revolutionized approach to educate girls is necessary and need of an hour for better development of society.

    Day 26 fact:
    For 2023, the theme for Earth Day is 'Invest In Our Planet'. The theme would be a continuation of the 2022 campaign. The theme is designed to influence people, governments and businesses across the world to work towards giving this planet a better and safer future.

    Day 25 Fact:
    Donating used items can positively impact the environment because the process reduces the amount of trash disposed of in dumpyards.
    You can donate unused items such as clothes and toys rather than disposing of them in waste dumpyards.

    In 2016, three-quarters of the global urban population experienced air pollution levels at least 2.5 times higher than the air quality guideline value for particulate matter. According to recent findings, air pollution is currently one of the factors that contribute to premature death.
