I always considered food colours were harmful however never thought of replacing it as couldn't really find cost effective alternatives however after realising its potential impact on our health, I am now glad to have moved to real saffron and turmeric

Its quite common to see traffic jams on weekends nowadays, and for a remote working employee like myself I am completely unaware of how much time it would last so rather then hoping it would move in 10 seconds its best to just switch off the engine if it exceeds more then 10 seconds since its usually a halt of more then 10 minutes!

While I was researching a little more about :
    Refined Sugar, I learnt

    1. Weight Gain: High in calories with no nutritional benefits.
    2. Blood Sugar Issues: Causes quick spikes and crashes, leading to mood swings and tiredness.
    3. Tooth Decay: Promotes cavities and dental issues.
    4. Health Risks: Linked to diabetes and inflammation, which can lead to heart disease.
    5. Addictive: Hard to cut back once you get used to the sweetness.

My "aha" moment during the EcoChallenge came when I realized how much waste I was generating, even in my own home. I did the "Produce No Waste for a Day" challenge, and it was shocking how much trash I ended up with! It made me really think about where all that stuff was going and how I could be more mindful.

That day, I started making little changes. I stopped using disposable coffee pods and switched to a reusable coffee filter. I bought reusable grocery bags instead of taking plastic ones at the store. I started composting food scraps and recycling more diligently. It was amazing to see how small adjustments could really make a difference.

Now, I'm much more aware of my consumption habits. I think twice before buying something I don't need. I'm constantly on the lookout for ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle. It feels good knowing I'm doing my part to be more sustainable, and I hope I can inspire others to do the same!

I visited the Shaniwarwada and learnt about its historical importance. I believe all the historical places are important to protect as they remind us of our culture heritage where we come from what we did and how we survived. It's important to learn all these factors to enhance our future.
