That its important to keep our ecosystems healthy and being responsible with water usage is vital.

Being more aware of the amount of water Im using when doing tasks and chores around the house.

I’ve learned a lot recently about how harmful plastics are to the environment, and I’ve decided to commit to reducing plastic use in my household.

Things we're doing:
In the kitchen
Swap plastic wrap and bags for glass containers, stainless steel containers, or silicone covers.
Use reusable produce bags and shop brands that package in glass, metal, or paper.
Avoid single use pods, sachets, and plastic cutlery. Keep a small kit of reusables handy.

Food and drinks
Choose loose produce and bulk items when possible.
Use a refillable water bottle, coffee cup, and food containers for takeout.
If you drink sparkling water or soda, a home carbonator can cut a lot of bottle waste.
