On Friday, some other Emerson employees went to the lake and cleaned for about 2-3 hours! It was such a rewarding experience. I would suggest that all of you take some time out and pick up just one item you might see on the streets! Even just one piece of trash makes a difference!

This Earth Month, we focus on giving back to the planet and our communities. From local cleanups to small everyday actions, it all adds up. When we take care of the earth, we also care for each other.

Friday, we are going out to do our part, will you be there?

Did you know that iPhones have a Clean Charging Feature?!!? Maybe I am late, but I just found out last night... See below for high-level details:

If the iPhone is charging slower than usual and the icon is green, it might be due to the Clean Energy Charging feature, which charges the phone during times when lower-carbon-emission electricity is available.

It might not seem like much, but even in the bowling world, there are ways to make a difference, like reusing gear, recycling old equipment, or just being more mindful of energy use at the lanes.
Sustainability doesn’t have to be big or flashy. Sometimes it’s just about making small changes that add up over time.
Let’s keep rolling in the right direction—for the planet and the next generation of bowlers.

Think about showering, brushing your teeth, washing dishes, and how much water you use. It's not a big deal on its own, but it'll be over a month. A year? It adds up. Earth Month goal: do less, but do it mindfully.

Earth Month isn’t about having it all figured out.
It’s about being willing to learn, mess up, try again.
I’ve got a long way to go, but I’m in it for the long haul.
If you're learning too, I’d love to hear what’s been helping you

I learned this stat recently: electronics still use energy even when they’re off.
So now I’m trying to unplug my chargers and power strips at night.
Feels small, but it’s weirdly satisfying. Like I’m doing something to care for this planet I love.

This one’s hard: cutting down on impulse buys.
I’ve been learning more about how shipping and packaging affects the planet, and yeah... it adds up.
This month I’m trying the “wait 24 hours before you click buy” rule. So far, it’s saved me money and guilt.

Earth Month reminder: go outside. Like, actually outside.
I've been trying to unplug and just sit in nature for a few minutes a day.
No headphones. No scrolling. Just wind and trees and weird birds being dramatic.
It helps more than I expected.

I did a little trash audit (yes, I’m that person now 😅), and wow... the amount of plastic I use without even noticing is kind of wild.
Trying to be more mindful this month — bringing my own containers and actually remembering my reusable bag (finally!).
