Water
Understand My Water Footprint
Each of us has a water footprint, directly linked to our daily activities as well as the water required in the production of things we use each day. Understanding our water use is important for a healthy planet. I will calculate my water footprint and look for a few ways I can reduce consumption or waste, then share what I learned on the feed.
What is resilience?
Explore Resilience in Nature
Resilience is all around us in the natural world. I will spend 30 minutes outdoors looking for examples of resilience—such as plants regrowing, animals adapting, or seasonal cycles—and reflect on what they teach about thriving through change.
What is resilience?
Notice Resilience Around Me
Resilience shows up in many places. I will look for one example of resilience in my surroundings—whether in my community, work, or daily life—and reflect on what it teaches me about adapting to change.
Personal
Meditate
Meditation helps build resilience and clarity. I will spend 5 minutes each day to meditate or create a moment of silence each day to reflect on things important to me.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWhat is resilience? What examples of resilience did you notice outdoors? How did spending time in nature shape your understanding of resilience?
Dylan Javers 4/02/2026 10:54 AMOne example of resilience I found was a plant poking through a crack in the cement near my apartment building. That is something that always amazed me as a kid that plants can find a way to grow no matter the circumstances. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalWhat did you notice about your thoughts or emotions during or after meditation? How might mindfulness or calmness support your well-being day to day?
Dylan Javers 4/02/2026 10:45 AMAfter meditation I felt some of the stress over homework go away. I feel a bit more level headed and calm now. I think day to day this will help stay calm and alleviate stresses.-

I find it helpful to meditate when I'm stressed, too (usually with guided meditations). I'm glad you're trying it!

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterWhat did you learn about your water footprint, and what changes felt most practical or surprising? How does this connect to resilience on a larger scale?
Dylan Javers 4/02/2026 10:44 AMBeing mindful about water when brushing teeth and flossing. It only saves a little water per day but over time it will add up and make an impact for the better.
