Opt for visits to reputable sanctuaries focused on rescuing, rehabilitating, and releasing animals (when possible) or providing them with lifelong care in ethical environments. Look for transparency in their operations and a focus on conservation.

      • 17-DAY STREAK
One key thing I’ve learned is that tourism can have both positive and negative effects on wildlife—it all depends on how we travel. Irresponsible tourism can lead to habitat destruction, stress for animals, and disruption of natural behaviors. But when done thoughtfully, tourism can support conservation efforts, fund wildlife protection programs, and raise awareness about endangered species.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

A major shift away from conventional, non-biodegradable plastics would drastically reduce the amount of plastic waste accumulating in landfills and polluting oceans, rivers, and beaches
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
