Isabelle Hitzel 4/03/2024 12:18 PMWhy I'm choosing to participate in the Earth Month Ecochallenge 2024: As a mom to a 9-year old who is learning all about environmentalism, I want to lead by example and learn more myself. We are outdoors a lot, and she has been raised going camping and hiking, taking care to "leave it better than we found it" -- so she takes much more care of the environment then I did when I was her age. We have conversations about how her generation will be the one to work ultra hard to improve the effects of what generations before hers have done to our planet. I want to take this month to learn more, do more, and hopefully start this on-going conversation and continue to make efforts to being more environmentally friendly in our household.
