Personal
Share a Health or Well-being Resource
Sharing knowledge helps others nurture their well-being. Through social media, in the Ecochallenge feed, or in conversations, I will share 1 health or well-being resources with friends, family, or my community to promote a healthier, more resilient world.
Water
Take Shorter Showers
Conserving water helps protect this precious resource. I will shorten my showers to 5 minutes to save water and reduce energy use - each time saving up to 20 gallons (75 L) of water!
Community
Support Local Businesses
Supporting local businesses helps keep communities vibrant and resilient. I will choose to shop at 1 local businesses or restaurants, with a focus on businesses owned by people of color, local farmers, or community members.
Personal
Exercise Daily
Daily movement supports our physical and mental health. I will spend 30 minutes each day exercising in a way that feels good to me, such as walking, running, stretching, or dancing.
Soil and Food
Enjoy a Meatless Meal
Producing 1 kg of beef emits as much greenhouse gas as driving 150 miles, meanwhile, 1 kg of veggies or grains leaves a much lighter footprint! This week, I’ll shrink my climate impact by having 1 meatless meals meals each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONPersonalWhat resource did you share, and how do you think it could help others? How does sharing knowledge about well-being strengthen your relationships or community?
Kristina Helms 4/03/2026 12:32 PMI shared 10 tiny weekend habits that make you more productive on a Monday, focusing on the importance of slowing down, resting, and setting boundaries with work. I think this resource can help others rethink the idea that weekends need to be packed or productivity-focused. By encouraging rest and intentional downtime, it helps people recharge, prevent burnout, and start the week feeling more balanced and focused instead of overwhelmed. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaterHow did shortening your showers affect your awareness of water conservation? What other water-saving practices can you adopt in your daily routine?
Kristina Helms 4/03/2026 12:26 PM- Parent 🐻
Shortening my showers definitely made me more aware of how much water I use on a daily basis. I’ve carried this awareness into other areas of my routine as well, especially dishwashing, by using less water and being more intentional instead of letting it run.-

Dishwashing is the place I can make most difference. Keeping it at a trickle is challenging!

REFLECTION QUESTIONCommunityWhat did you learn about the businesses or owners you supported? How does shopping locally contribute to a more vibrant and resilient community?
Kristina Helms 4/03/2026 12:24 PM- Parent 🐻
My husband and I went to Seto Bakery and ordered baklava, which I love—I’ve had it before in Athens, so it was really interesting to enjoy it again and reflect on how baklava is also a traditional Middle Eastern delicacy. I learned that Seto Bakery is inspired by the owner’s grandmother, which made the experience feel even more meaningful and personal. Shopping locally supports family stories, cultural traditions, and real people in our community -
