I thought this was a good activity to learn more about the specific principles and some of the best practices around Leave No Trace. I first learned about Leave No Trace when I was in Boy Scouts as a teenager, so actually reminding myself of these best practices before the summer camping season was a good refresher.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
How difficult was this challenge for you? What made it easy or difficult?

The city where I normally do my grocery shopping on my way home added a fee for each bag used and even though it was only $0.05 per bag, it has ensured I keep reusable bags in my car.

Yes. I feel that even a small, but visible cost is enough of a tipping-point to motivate some of us to change habits... myself included! 😊
