REFLECTION QUESTIONWildlifeHow did your experience go in trying an action to Leave No Trace? Did you notice others doing the same, or not? From a perspective of having empathy for others, why might people not adhere to the Leave No Trace principles?
Stone Guzik 4/30/2025 10:50 PMI applied Leave No Trace on my hike by staying on designated trails, disposing of waste mindfully, and picking up stray litter. I observed that, though some hikers were environmentally mindfull, others appeared less aware or empathetic. I think this stems from a lack in education, bad habits, and poor infrastructure of the trail that explain why some people don't fully adhere to the Leave No Trace principles. -
