Learn to be a Responsible Tourist
Being a responsible tourist means not disturbing wildlife and choosing eco-friendly tour operators and destinations that prioritize wildlife conservation and respect animal welfare. I will spend 25 minutes researching ways to travel responsibly to ensure my adventures support, rather than harm, wildlife and their habitats.
Health and Well-Being
Replace a Product
Small changes can make a big difference for health and sustainability. Using what I learned from auditing ingredients in the products I use, I will replace 3 toxic or harmful products I use with safer, eco-friendly alternatives.
Wildlife
Learn How to Save the Bees
Bees and other pollinators are vital to ecosystems and agriculture. I will spending 20 minutes learning about local pollinators and why they are so important.
Health and Well-Being
Audit Toxic Products in my Home
Many common products contain harmful chemicals. I will spend 25 minutes researching chemicals found in products I use, and I will make a list of products I'd like to replace with safer options.
Health and Well-Being
Prepare for Extreme Weather
Extreme weather events like hurricanes, wildfires, and floods can disrupt lives and upend our communities. I will take proactive steps to prepare for extreme weather by safeguarding my home and creating or updating an emergency plan and kit with essential supplies, evacuation routes, and contact information.
Health and Well-Being
Meditate
Meditation helps build resilience and clarity. I will spend 10 minutes each day to meditate or create a moment of silence each day to reflect on things important to me.

elias grimsley 4/09/2025 12:33 PMI decided to replace my deodorant to a more natural one. I went from old spice to now using native because it is much better for your skin and doesnt use chemicals that can give you burns if you wear it for too long. -

Having food with extended shelf life like canned good is good for almost all natural disasters. If there is any time that you can not leave your house for any reason, extended shelf life items can be of great use. The national weather service is a great source for finding how to prepare for any type of natural disaster or extreme weather https://www.weather.gov/safety/winter-before-

- 3-DAY STREAK
I find it challenging to meditate most of the time as my mind tends to wonder about things that are going on in my life. I hope to get better at it as the month goes on. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWildlifeWhat did you learn about how tourism impacts wildlife, and how can you make more conscious choices when planning a trip? How do you think your travel decisions can contribute to wildlife conservation and respectful interactions with nature?

Tourism can harm wildlife by disturbing animals, damaging habitats, and causing pollution. Tourism can also bring sickness's to animals and can even cause invasive species to make their way to a new continent. To make better choices I can follow rules about not feeding or touching animals and support local conservation programs. Choosing responsible tours and avoiding activities that exploit animals can help me protect nature. By being respectful and making smart travel decisions, I can help wildlife thrive and keep natural spaces safe for the future.
