Reflection QuestionEconomy & Communities Choose LED BulbsChanging lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! What's next for you?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:42 AMUpgrade to energy-efficient appliances: Replace old and inefficient appliances such as refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners with newer models that have energy-saving features. -
Reflection QuestionClimate & Ecosystems Calculate Your Carbon ImpactWhat is one way you will reduce your carbon footprint? What is a practice you already have that helps you reduce your carbon footprint?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:40 AMOne way to reduce your carbon footprint is to reduce the amount of energy you consume. You can do this by switching to energy-efficient appliances, turning off lights and electronics when you're not using them, and using public transportation, walking, or cycling instead of driving a car. -
Reflection QuestionClimate & Ecosystems Support Local PollinatorsWhy is it important to take care of pollinators? Do you have a favorite pollinator?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:39 AMThere are many different types of pollinators, including bees, butterflies, moths, birds, bats, and beetles. Each of these species plays a unique role in pollination, and all are important to the health of our planet. -
Reflection QuestionHealth & Equity Practice MindfulnessWhat was it like to practice mindfulness? If this is a practice for you already, what was something new you understood in practicing during Earth Month?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:36 AMMindfulness is a practice of being present in the moment and observing one's thoughts and feelings without judgement. It involves focusing on the present moment and being aware of one's thoughts, feelings, and surroundings.-

Reflection QuestionHealth & Equity Spend Time OutsideWhat are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:35 AMThere are several potential implications for a culture that spends most of its time inside and on screens. Here are a few possibilities:
1. Decreased physical activity: Spending most of one's time inside and on screens may lead to a decrease in physical activity. This could result in a higher risk of obesity and related health problems.
2. Social isolation: Spending less time engaging in face-to-face interactions with others could lead to social isolation and loneliness. This could have negative effects on mental health and well-being. -
Reflection QuestionEducation & Livelihood Work-Life BalanceHow does practicing a work-life balance create a more sustainable life for you? How might it contribute to sustainability more broadly?
Vlad-Liviu Filip 4/26/2023 5:34 AMPractising a work-life balance can create a more sustainable life by helping individuals maintain their physical, emotional, and mental well-being. When individuals prioritise their work and personal lives in a balanced way, they are less likely to experience burnout, stress, and other negative consequences of overwork. -
