20th Spring plum in Yingge Ceramic container 2025春遊三鶯—甕藏春梅 | 新北市立鶯歌陶瓷博物館
Visit the Ceramic Musem and fun with making pickled plum, to support Nantou farmer being impacted by 921 earthquake (1999), farmers picked the plum by hand 1 day before the evern, they deliver fresh plums to the daily event (during Apr 3 to 27, 2025), we knew a lot of storied with the land we live by joining such fusion event.
Nothing is easy even the pickled plum we are familiar with, actually it tool a lot of efforts to make yammy plums. But it worth of it, people, nature and living altogether. My daugher and I promised to join such fusion event every year, the Ceramic container is featured each year with different topic.-

2025 Spring plum in ceremic jar 20th event (2025春遊三鶯—甕藏春梅 | 新北市立鶯歌陶瓷博物館)
Connecting with local business at Yingge Ceramics Museum and fresh hand picked plum from Tsuí-lí-hiong in Nantou County. The farmers picked the fresh plum manually and deliver harvested plums 1 day before the event. These are also to support those being impacted by 921 earthquake (1999). The Yingge Ceremics Museum starts to work with Nantou plam farmer to hold such fusion event. I used to make pickled plum at home, but never to know that join such fusion event brougt kids and adults so much fun. This is one of way to know where we live and how we cherish with harvested crops on hand.
People who like such fusion activity, are welcome to visit Yingge Ceramic Museum, New Teipei City, Taiwan every Spring around end of March to mid of April (during time of Ching Ming Festival, is the best season to harvest green plum with around 60~70% matured). And in the Museum, people can visit current exhibition and find crafted ceramic pieces. -
