Who is most affected by environmental degration or environmental irresponsiblity in your community? How are they affected? What actions can you take to support those affected by these issues?

The Rio Grande Valley is about 90% hispanic, and it is these communities of color which are disproportionally affected by environmental hazards. Low income and immigrant communities are also affected. Air and water pollution, along with land and habitat degradation, can lead to health concerns and a loss of a traditional ways of life. These disruptions are caused by development by companies such as SpaceX, LNG, and other industries at the Port of Brownsville.
