Plastic bags do not always end up in landfills and if they aren't properly disposed of. In nature, they can be mistaken for food by many wild animals and harm wildlife. Participant Feed

Reflection, encouragement, and relationship building are all important aspects of getting a new habit to stick.
Share thoughts, encourage others, and reinforce positive new habits on the Feed.

To get started, share “your why.” Why did you join the challenge and choose the actions you did?

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health and Well-Being
Before you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now? What was the most challenging part of reducing refined sugar, and how did you overcome it?

This one was actually difficult from my point of view.

I love eating sugar content products a lot and I reduced the intake of sweets & sugar gradually. YES, I was kind of addicted to it, but IT HAS TO BE DONE at one point.

Now, I would say I sleep and wake up early. I feel lighter than usual and most importantly ACTIVE.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Sustainable Innovation
What sustainable product did you purchase, and how does it align with your values?

Eliminated plastics and started to use Steel completely!!!! I now use steel water bottles and steel tiffin box. (Steel is easier to recycle and the product life is significantly higher than plastics.)

Just a thought! I personally believe all zoo(s) in the world should be abolished! Instead, there should be lot of safari vehicles that should go in the jungle.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Land, Water, and Air
How did changing your dishwashing habits make you more mindful of water use? What other small changes can you make to conserve water in your household?

There is a proverb "Little drops of water make the mighty ocean".
I don't have metro water connection at home, as a result, I have to get water from third party company which costs a lot of money. Hence, I try to save every single drop possible wherever required. (example: If there is a water leak from a tap, i try to change it immediately.)

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health and Well-Being
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What changes did you make to improve your sleep, and how did they affect your day?

I usually sleep late as I game beyond midnight. I recently started to stop gaming after 11pm to focus on health and prioritize sleep. The next day, I feel fresh and enthu towards work.
