    I went through my board games that I haven't played in years and offered them up to my neighbors through my local "Buy Nothing Project" group on Facebook.

    I left clumps of leaves and twigs in the trees (and only cleaned up leaves fallen to the ground) so that birds or other small animals might be able to nest.
