Lynn Coish 4/03/2025 6:48 AMI'm hitting the highway today, in the rain. So today's action will be to drive carefully and thoughtfully. I've already done my morning recycling. It's amazing how much recycling 2 people generate per day!-

Lynn Coish 4/02/2025 5:17 PMI joined this challenge because It's easy! I've been fighting litter for 20 years, organizing neighborhood cleanups and volunteers in my Gateway City. Operation Clean Sweep is starting its 20th season this year. While I've stepped down as Team Leader, I continue to support the work and keep my little part of the world clean. Additionally, I take many measures at home to reduce my litter production and energy waste. I also have solar panels, so this has been a passion of mine for a long time. I would like the planet to be clean and pristine. I am distressed to my soul by the plastic and all pollution and its effects on marine and wildlife, the most innocent who live off the land and are being tortured and killed by humans who have no regard or respect for the planet that provides us life. -
Lynn Coish 4/02/2025 5:10 PMI chased down a plastic "produce" bag today....it almost got away, I lost sight of it once I pulled over to get it, but then I saw it hiding amongst its kind. It was full of air and ready to start off again, when I caught up to it, put my foot down and caught it! I promptly picked it up, tied it in a knot and popped it into the trunk of my car for responsible plastic bag recycling. Later, upon my return, I spotted two more bags, large contractor bags, so after parking, I retrieved them, though they too tried to get away, hiding not so stealthily under a work truck. I once again put my foot down on litter, retrieved the two bags to be used as they were intended. It was a good day!-
