Our food choices can help protect forests and wildlife. I will spend 10 minutes learning how to choose foods that are grown in ways that protect forests, such as avoiding products linked to deforestation and seeking certified sustainable options like shade-grown coffee or palm oil-free products.

Meditate
Meditation helps build resilience and clarity. I will spend 10 minutes each day to meditate or create a moment of silence each day to reflect on things important to me.

Belonging to a group can help build friendships and a sense of purpose. I will explore online or in-person groups or clubs that share my interests or goals and join a group to connect with others.

Enjoy a Meatless Meal
Producing 1 kg of beef emits as much greenhouse gas as driving 150 miles, meanwhile, 1 kg of veggies or grains leaves a much lighter footprint! This week, I’ll shrink my climate impact by having 1 meatless meals and/or 1 vegan meals each day.

Environmental issues often impact marginalized communities the most. I will spend 20 minutes researching environmental justice concerns in my region, who is affected by them, and local initiatives to address these concerns.

My Earth month ecochallenge 2025 is going well! I joined a book club to help for community and connection, I am incorporating more meatless meals and meditation for health and well-being, I have learned a lot about pollinators and choosing forest friendly foods. -

It's estimated that one out of every three bites of food we eat depends on pollinators! They also help keep our air clean, and our ecosystem thriving! To ensure they continue to thrive, simple things we can do include planting pollinator friendly gardens, reducing use of pesticides, and offering water sources outside like bird baths or fountains. -
