It cost more to recycle a plastic bag than to produce a new one. How it cost $4,000 to process and recycle 1 ton of plastic bags, which can then be sold for $32. Less than 1% of plastic bags and less than 14% of plastic packaging are recycled. Plastics bottles are only recycle 3 times before send to land fill.

    I participated in the Sustainability ARG Beach Cleanup today along with my three grandsons. All together as a team we collected 40 lbs. of trash.

      Pat is so great! Rich and I went to Markham Park, which is near us and we did our own trash pick up. We managed to fill have a small trash bag. I was shocked at how clean it was.

    It has been such a busy couple weeks at work but today I will take an afternoon break and finish working on time. This week it's been working until 6:00 - 6:30 but today it will be at 5:00PM.

    As part of the Earth Month activities, SustainABILITY ARG is hosting a Beach Cleanup Day.
    They are partnering with the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center to make an impact in our local community by cleaning one of the most beautiful South Florida beaches – Spanish River Park Beach.

    This morning I participate in Depot Day of Service at the Boys and Girls Club Moran, Deerfield Beach. My grandsons and I was there from 8AM to 1PM, Painting, clean and arranging equipment. Train them young.

    Headspace helps me to relax, feel less stress. I practice breathing, especially at night so I can put my mind to bed. Using Headspace helps me to disconnect from negative thoughts and feelings.
