Bringing Nature Into My Day 🌱
Planting something—whether in my home garden or at my office desk—has been a peaceful and rewarding experience.
At home, I’ve started a small garden with herbs like basil and mint, along with a few flowering plants. Spending time outdoors caring for them gives me a sense of calm and accomplishment.

At my desk, I keep a small indoor plant. Watching its tiny leaves slowly grow each day brings a quiet, blissful feeling. It’s a simple way to stay connected to nature, even during a busy workday.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
What is one way you can reduce your impact on nature the next time you spend time outdoors, and how might that action help preserve the environment for others?

One simple way to reduce our impact is by staying on trails and picking up all trash. This helps protect plants, animals, and keeps nature clean for everyone to enjoy.

I would often overlook the power of kindness. It creates a ripple effect of positivity. Basic gestures like passing a smile or a compliment can really make someones day, and that brings immense joy from within.

I would never shy away or stop myself from giving compliments to someone. Its really simple but leaves a deep impact.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
What actions can you take to ensure your pets do not harm local wildlife? How does being a responsible pet owner contribute to the well-being of both your pets and the environment?

I have a cat and two cockatiels as pets, and I’ve often wondered what the ideal way would be to have them in the same house. However, they each have their own space, and they share it in a friendly manner. We make sure they can freely do their activities while keeping everything balanced.

Keeping the cat indoors or supervised prevents it from hunting local birds or wildlife, while allowing the cockatiels to fly freely indoors mimics its natural behavior without the risk of predation. This mindful approach ensures the well-being of my pets and shows how small, responsible actions at home can help protect and maintain the balance of the broader ecosystem, promoting coexistence and safety for both my pets and local wildlife.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Are you a gardener or house plant lover? Why or why not? What do you need to elevate your plant care skills?

I would call myself a house plant lover. I love to plant small trees and flowering plants that grow and bloom over time . It’s all about nurturing growth and watching something small and delicate thrive. I love the idea of plants bringing a bit of nature inside and creating a calming, vibrant space.
