Health and Well-Being
Declutter and Donate
Decluttering can reduce stress and benefit others. I will declutter my home and donate items I no longer need to support others in my community.
Land, Water, and Air
Save Water When Washing Dishes
Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.
Wildlife
Protect Pollinators with a Plant or Mini-Habitat
Pollinators need a little help from their friends like us! I will take 3 steps to protect pollinators, such as planting a pollinator-friendly plant, installing a pollinator hotel, or by leaving leaf litter for pollinators to call home.
Wildlife
Use Reusable Bags
Plastic bags do not always end up in landfills and if they aren't properly disposed of. In nature, they can be mistaken for food by many wild animals and harm wildlife. When I go shopping, I will be sure to bring my own bags to reduce waste and the chance that plastic bags could find their way into wildlife habitats.
Health and Well-Being
Exercise Daily
Daily movement supports our physical and mental health. I will spend 60 minutes each day exercising in a way that feels good to me, such as walking, running, stretching, or dancing.

- 2-DAY STREAK
Easy - I didn't have my reusable bags with me but chose paper bags instead of plastic. I keep the paper bags for holding recyclable materials or re-use them for various chores where a bag is needed. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWildlifeWhat’s one thing you can do in your yard, community, or daily routine to create a safer environment for pollinators? Be sure to share any photos of your actions to protect pollinators in the feed!

I planted 3 small flowers in an area where we have two butterfly bushes already planted to help with soil erosion and beautification. -

- 2-DAY STREAK
I joined this challenge to show support for eco-friendly initiatives. I enjoy hiking, camping, fishing and other outdoor activities and am concerned about the recent environmental policy changes we are seeing in the U.S. and the long-term implications. I'm trying to take local actions and feel like I'm doing something positive in the face of so much negative pressure on preserving natural resources.
