      • 18-DAY STREAK
Participating in a local clean-up and picking up litter around my neighborhood made me feel more connected to the place I call home. It helped me see my community not just as a place to live, but as a shared space we all have a responsibility to care for.
As I picked up trash from streets, parks, and sidewalks, I became more aware of how even small amounts of litter can make a big impact on the environment and on how we feel about where we live. It also opened my eyes to how much of that waste could be avoided with just a bit more awareness and effort.
This experience gave me a deeper respect for those who quietly work to keep our surroundings clean every day. It inspired me to be more mindful about my own waste and to encourage others to do the same. Clean spaces create a healthier environment, uplift the community, and show that we value the world around us.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Where in your life do you emit the most carbon? What change are you willing to make in your daily life to reduce this output?

Travel and dietary choices tend to be the largest emissions. Living in the US, reducing travel proves difficult, but I can certainly choose better food to reduce impact (like avoiding palm oils, which will also be healthier in the long run).
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

What surprised you most about your water footprint, and how did it influence your perspective on water use? What changes can you make to reduce your water consumption, and how will these impact your daily routine?
