Help to clean up Winchester Circle, earn some extra steps for the Fitness Challenge and enjoy all the benefit of being outside in the beautiful Colorado weather.

We are getting together to plant our first food garden in the Boulder Campus. Bring your veggies, herbs, or flowers seedlings and come help build this garden with us. There were seeds left over from the Seed Swap Event, which will get planted too. We will have three big planters (10 x 3 x 1ft) filled with nice soil ready to be sowed. Wednesday, April 30th at 2 PM by the Bocci Court outside the West Wing Expansion Let's close the celebrations of Earth Month with golden keys, looking towards fruitful healthy harvests in the near future.

Innovation thrives when we share ideas. I will share 10 sustainable innovation discoveries on social media or in the Ecochallenge feed to inspire others to explore creative solutions.

Become a Sustainability Aficionado or invite one of your colleagues to join if you're already tuned into the program. 

Get involved! Join your local Green Team to connect and work on local sustainability initiatives. Or, participate in one of the many Earth Month activities they've organized.

Kick off your meetings with a "Sustainability Moment" to keep environmental awareness top of mind. Even better, develop new "Sustainability Moments" tailored to your specific location and work, making the connection between sustainability and your daily activities even stronger!

Learn about our new Sustainability Pathways initiative and implement 1 action under each of the pillars from the most appropriate persona.

When companies and governments make large-scale changes to their products and practices, it makes sustainability more accessible to the masses, in turn creating further demand for sustainable products, and the cycle continues. I will advocate for improved, sustainable food packaging through petitions, letters, or by supporting brands that prioritize eco-friendly packaging - and share my advocacy actions on the feed.

Sustainable investments shape a greener future. I will research and invest in companies, funds, or projects that supports sustainability, such as renewable energy, green tech, or sustainable practices. I will share more about who I supported with others on social media or in the Ecochallenge feed.

Green spaces improve air quality, support wildlife, and enhance well-being. I will call or write 1 public officials per day to advocate for more green spaces around my town, particularly in neighborhoods that currently lack equitable access to green spaces such as parks and gardens.

The PRIDE ERG invites the Boulder Campus to the Earth Month and EcoChallenge Kickoff. Learn from Seth Harris, Pride Chair and Director of Sustainability in our Sales organization, about all the sustainable projects that Emerson is driving with our customers. "Greening by" activities enable Emerson to help its customers improve their environmental sustainability performance through the implementation and use of our products and solutions.

Repurpose your athletic sneakers by donating them at the MMI Cafeteria drop-off bin. The Boulder Green Team will carry your donation to One World Running, which is an all-volunteer non-profit that redistributes those shoes to developing countries. If you don't have shoes to donate, consider spreading the word around or making a cash donation to One World Running.
