Angel Betances 4/04/2024 8:32 AMLOW CARBON DIET : RESEARCH
I just found out about the impact of low carbon diets and decided to do some research on it.
Basically, changing what we eat can save money and help the environment. Right now, there are hidden/ambiguous costs in producing food, especially animal-based foods. These costs include things like damage to human health and ecosystems. In 2018, these hidden costs added up to about $14 trillion worldwide. If people eat less meat and more plant-based foods, we could save a lot of money, up to $7.3 trillion annually.
This change would also help reduce the harm to our health and the environment, like cutting down on carbon emissions.
