    My eco-challenge so far has been going well. I've been enjoying practicing mediation and learning new ways that just simply being present for 10min a day can decrease my stress. This has helped me to approach my course work for the term with a relaxed mind improving the quality of my school work.

    Today I worked on my Resilience action. I took the quiz to find out what my resilience type is and what that means for me under stress. My result stated that I was "the grounded type" meaning that I am generally level headed and can take on challenging situations with a calm logic approach. however, It explained that in times of high stress I may struggle to get out of a slump. I found these results to be mostly accurate with my personality. These results and feedback were beneficial in understanding my tendencies and ways that I can address them.

    What did you notice about your thoughts or emotions during or after meditation? How might mindfulness or calmness support your well-being day to day?

    After meditating for just 20 minutes I found that I had less racing thoughts which helped to manage my emotions and ease my anxiety. Meditating consistently is something I would like to add to my routine because I think practicing mindfulness will help me to destress and approach my daily task with a clear mind and better quality outcome specifically for school assignments and athletics.

    After reading about resilience I found the idea of using set backs and failures to grow to be a great example of "ordinary magic" the article explains how resilience can be a genetic predisposition but can also be built through life experience, battling trauma, and learning from mistakes putting emphasis on perspective being the ground work for resilience
