Resilience is an everyday magic in all of us. I will spend 15 minutes learning about resilience and psychologist Ann Masten’s concept of “ordinary magic,” which shows how people adapt and thrive through small, daily strengths.

I've been enjoying practicing mediation and learning new ways that just simply being present for 10min a day can decrease my stress. This has helped me to approach my course work for the term with a relaxed mind improving the quality of my school work.-

lauryn Bellcabacungan 4/18/2026 5:23 PMToday I worked on my Resilience action. I took the quiz to find out what my resilience type is and what that means for me under stress. My result stated that I was "the grounded type" meaning that I am generally level headed and can take on challenging situations with a calm logic approach. however, It explained that in times of high stress I may struggle to get out of a slump. I found these results to be mostly accurate with my personality. These results and feedback were beneficial in understanding my tendencies and ways that I can address them.-

lauryn Bellcabacungan 4/12/2026 10:42 PMAfter meditating for just 20 minutes I found that I had less racing thoughts which helped to manage my emotions and ease my anxiety. Meditating consistently is something I would like to add to my routine because I think practicing mindfulness will help me to destress and approach my daily task with a clear mind and better quality outcome specifically for school assignments and athletics. -
