Last Day of the Eco Challenge. I learned so much about my water footprint and my carbon impact. I have put some changes in place that were easy to make and I am continuing research on how to make more impactful changes in the future.

I just signed up for my local tool library so I can borrow tools I will only need for a short time to do a yard project this summer. I have borrowed/shared tools with neighbors as well.

Planted some of my veggies in my new raised garden bed. My strawberries that I planted in a 5 gallon bucket from last year did great through the winter and I have tons of flowers. I started with one bucket and they worked their way into a 2nd bucket on their own. My goal is to have even more next year. So excited to grow my own strawberries.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Wildlife
Are you a gardener or house plant lover? Why or why not? What do you need to elevate your plant care skills?

learning about virtual water and how that contributes to my water footprint. I never thought about how much water it takes to produce a cup of coffee. Not just the water I use for the coffee but the water used before the coffee even gets to me. Mind blowing.
