Dishwashers can save water — if used wisely. I will only run the dishwasher when it’s full and skip the pre-rinse to reduce water and energy use. If I don't have a dishwasher, I will turn off the tap as often as possible while washing dishes.

    i'm not a plant lover because i find it hard to keep them alive but I need to research the individual plant and cater to its needs.

    Tourism stresses out nearby animals (hordes on beaches, hiking trails etc) and you can be more conscious by avoiding places that may stress out animals. travel decisions can avoid negatively affecting a habitat

    I got a bamboo spork from the cafeteria instead of plastic and it aligns with my values because it's decomposable

    I advocated for sustainable food packaging within my own home by convincing my parents to use Tupperware instead of disposable ziplocs. Minimizing disposable food packaging would diminish the amount of waste we generate.

    I learned that my new neighbors are engaged and getting married in the summer. I feel now that since we already know a little bit about each other a cordial friendship will be easier to form

    I help my neighbors with their iphone 16s (serious) and it helps me feel more connected to them because we're mending the gap in generations by teaching each other things--they were telling me about a word that got removed from the dictionary in the 80s

    I attended earthfest and I got food I liked and a free kombucha. it made me aware of how many people care about the environment/animals in San diego

    I learned about the Flint water crisis which affected a predominantly black community. I can help by supporting a charity
