Regular dental check ups, medical check ups once in a year atleast helps us prevent and detect some of the diseases which might come. Especially important for those who crossed the age of 45.

Equally important is to do vaccination before the onset of winter which can prevent flu. It either prevents from flu attack else has reduced impact when in contact with some one, which happened to me.

Refined sugars may increase your risk of obesity, type 2 diabetes, and heart disease. Reduce the consumption or try with plant based alternatives like Stevia which are considered generally safe.

Plant trees—the more the better! ...Really love the way some countries have taken this seriously by not just planting trees but also bringing in cloud seeded rains and punishing those who cut down tress without notice or permission.

Disposable Items - Disposable items, while convenient, are terrible for the environment. On-the-go coffee cups, plastic bottles, takeout utensils and other single-use products generate an enormous amount of waste and require a lot of resources to produce, manufacture and recycle.
Commercial farming usually involves a ton of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers, which aren’t good for our health or the planet. With a backyard garden, you have complete control over what goes on your plants and into the soil.
Taking meat off the menu is one of the best things you can do for the environment. Besides, eating more plant-based foods is associated with a bevy of health benefits, from better gut health to lower risks of cardiovascular disease

Growing your own plants is easy, rewarding and a great way to reduce your carbon footprint. Commercially-grown produce often travels thousands of miles to reach your plate, whereas the produce you grow in your backyard travels zero miles.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Community and Connection
How did you participate in the sharing economy? (Consider posting a photo!) What are the benefits of a sharing economy? How could a sharing economy change the dynamics you have with friends, family and/or neighbors?

Enrolled in a group and started posting messages on the goods like to share and also donated clothes no longer i want but was intact and good in shape.

Sharing resources making digital price comparisons can potentially translate to lower costs. Reducing environmental impact: The sharing economy increases the use of goods. And it reduces the number of goods that must be produced, reducing industrial pollution.

By pooling resources, the sharing economy works to offset some of these issues, reducing waste and making our spending habits more sustainable. Across several different industries, the environmental benefits of the sharing economy are clearly visible
