Unequal access to clean water is one of the most common water justice issues, and the most affected are those in poor communities. Here in the province, many areas experience water shortages and rely on unsafe water sources. Raising awareness about the importance of water conservation and the efficient use of water can really help make a difference.

Changing dishwashing habits can help us become more aware of how much water is used inefficiently. Other small changes I/we can make to conserve water include:
    • Using the water left from rinsing rice and vegetables to water plants.
    • Reusing the water used for washing dishes or clothes to clean the floor in the laundry area.
