I'm trying to check off my daily actions, but this is confusing. I find this to be a lot of extra work to my day. I have real work to do. Sorry. But I got us 5 more points by posting this, right?

During our trip to NY, we kept everything that we could not find a place to recycle in NY with us, and brought it back home so we could dispose it appropriately. Between Rumpke, Cincinnati Recycling & Reuse Hub, and our compost we throw away little in garbage.

We store cooking oil after frying in a cool area, but not in the fridge. Learned that it is better to keep it refrigerated. Will change that behavior in the future.

Hi everyone. We r over half way done with this Ecochallenge. Please try and get to your action steps. I am going to summarize where all the 8 teams stand as of now. Last I saw it, the one Canadian team had more points than all the 7 US teams combined. Thx

Over the last 4 years, my wife and I have participated in and led several ecochallenge teams. The changes we made in our lifestyle are 1) Built a compost in our backyard. 2) Stopped eating meat and chicken. 3) minimized use of single use plastic. 4) Changed our dish cleaning habit to reduce energy and water consumption by ~50%. 5) installed...
