While I signed up for my utility company's renewable option during last year's eco-challenge, I learned about the impact that sealing energy leaks within my home can have (including around windows, doors, attic, etc.) I've also converted to all LED light bulbs, and am frequently washing my clothes on a lower temperature.

After doing some research I found that I have been helping this cause for years by using stainless steel lint traps! Yay Me!

Using the Volunteer Match - I found an amazing opportunity right in my backyard! I am heading to the Michigan Military Technical Society to scan in old letters some from WWI! These will then be transcribed so the history can be preserved!
