Itr's estimated over a billion water bottles are thrown away each year. Even if they were recycled, that still uses energy and resources from the earth. I will use a reusable bottle and stop purchasing bottled water, saving 3 disposable plastic bottle(s) a day.

Studies have shown that when we spend consistent time in nature, our health improves, our creativity increases, and our connection to the planet gets stronger. Close Sashes on Fume Hoods When Not In Use

I will close sashes anytime I see they are open in my lab and help to save energy at BRI. Energy is wasted when equipment is running at full capacity when not in use. By closing sashes the energy consumption will be reduced resulting in less demand and less wear on the unit. (Saves Energy)
