clean water, safe environment, healthy communities, happy people

Doing good work for our clients goes hand in hand with doing good work for the companies and communities we serve, and for the planet as a whole, and that all good work begins and ends with a happy, healthy team. These commitments — to each other, to our clients, and to the world around us — define Woodard & Curran.

This year, we celebrate the 54th anniversary of Earth Day. On April 22 in 1970, millions of Americans (20 million; 10% of the U.S. population at the time) took action and rallied for change. This day has had a huge impact on our society, brought lasting awareness to the importance of a healthy environment and was the foundation to a key principle of Woodard & Curran’s mission: hold protection of the environment in a regard superior to that of all other interests.

As part of our annual Earth Day celebration, we’re partnering with Ecochallenge to educate, entertain, and engage the Woodard & Curran community on ways to drive sustainable habits into our daily lives. We hope you’ll join us!

About Earth Month Ecochallenge

This year’s Ecochallenge focuses on “Conserving Every Ecosystem, Caring for Every Creature”. This is to highlight the intersection of conservation and behavior change by focusing on daily actions and continuous learning. Aiming to create a sustainable and just world, not just for humans but for all species and ecosystems we rely on. The 2024 Ecochallenge transforms this into 5 categories (see below) of daily and one-time actions that you can take to create a healthier planet!

  • Community
  • Freshwater & Oceans
  • Land & Forests
  • Climate & Air
  • Biodiversity & Wildlife
