    Being disconnected from nature by being indoors and in front of screens most of the time results in poor health and also hurts our relationships with our communities.  Why invent and invest in virtual places instead of spending that time and money in nature.  The dividends are much higher!

    I find a daily walk is important to my mental health. During the spring, fall & winter, it is usually right after lunch. Summers, however, shift things to the morning because the heat & humidity are pretty intense.     I've moved to a new state and subdivision in 2020. There are many new hiking trails, greenways, even within the subdivision. Also, there are new flora and fauna to get to know each day. We mix up the route we take each day because there are new things to see all the time.

    I was surprised to find out that non-water specific activities were the bulk of my water footprint.  30% of my water footprint came from what I eat.  Trying to eat more non-meat meals is one way to bring my water footprint down.  The next highest contributor was my shopping habits.As an FYI, the stimulants in the chart is coffee...

    Every time I go on to the EWG.org site, I learn something new.  I love how they have a "Top Green Cleaning Products"  tab.  https://www.ewg.org/guides/cleaners/content/top_products/Who new Kaboom shower tub and tile cleaner gets an A on their list!

    The water footprint questionnaire was pretty interesting. It was good to know that my water usage was below the national average but there are definitely areas for improvement. It crazy to see how many gallons you actually use in a given day, it really adds up.
