    There is an implication of them actively not spending time with nature. It is hard to acknowledge how much time we actually spend inside, but even just going outside for 10-15 really makes a difference and grounds you where as being on social media or devices can do the opposite. It is a better feeling being outside with nature than inside...

    I think making sure when I am doing things like doing the dishes, brushing my teeth, etc. I should make sure I am turning off the water when I am not using it. This seems so simple but it is easy to let it escape you. I would like to put more conscious efforts forth to make sure I am reducing my water footprint.

    Practicing mindfulness to me is to be aware of my thoughts and actions and make conscious decisions on how I dispose of my waste, what waste I generate, the impact I have on others, and the impact I have on the earth.     I sent virtual thank you messages to teachers and staff at my school who have been extremely helpful in all of green team's projects.

    One immediate action to reduce my waste is to reduce the amount of small plastic-wrapped items I buy. Instead, I can buy things in bulk so there's only one disposable container to throw away than many small plastic ones that add up and are especially damaging to animals who mistake them for food if they end up outside of a garbage bin.
