Very interesting to compare the regions of the US.  Our rating for here in MN isn't great.  We do have hydro, nuc, wind, gas, but too much reliance on coal.  I entered my kWh usage for the past year and was happy to see I'm at half the average.

Many, many years ago, when my primary job was working in accounting for Waste Management, I interviewed for a secondary role for Clean Water Action.  I remember the interviewer asking me, "What is it like to work for the largest polluter in North America?" and I remember thinking to myself, "What is it like to be so misguided in your understanding of an issue?  Do you honestly think Waste Management is generating all that trash?  No, it is you and me, so you need to wise up and understand the issues you're fighting for."  Ever since then, I have pledged to understand what the climate organizations I donate to do and stand for.

I have always had the start of a readiness plan, but this was good to dedicate some time to documenting things better.

Look at the offerings in my accounts and take actions to invest funds where I find alignment.

The barriers in my community are much more subtle and subliminal than those in all of the linked articles I read.  The idea that riding a bicycle is seen as sexual in some way is sad but thankfully unrelatable to my experience.  But girls are still less likely to raise their hands with the answer.  Emerson, by its own admission, needs more women on the board and in executive offices.

Tornados are the primary risk.  We're not in 500 year flood plain.
