Intro to Sustainability 2022

I do not regularly use plastic silverware but it somehow always makes its way into my house one way or another so we have been washing them and using them multiple times. I also have a few that I use as tools for gardening. 

Eagan-Inver Grove Heights WMO is one of six watershed organizations in Dakota County. The land area encompasses nearly the entire City of Eagan and a small portion of Inver Grove Heights. There are many lakes and wetlands that connect and flow to the Minnesota River.

Going well! Want to go beyond the goals and challenge them through the lens of indigenous wisdom, Gandhi's ecology, and systems thinking. 

Poor water quality in my region affects all of us but has disproportionate effects on people who live close to or on bodies of water, those relying on fish from the lakes, and low-income neighborhoods with significant exposure to these impaired waters.

One simple thing I do to help build a sustainable world is practicing a sharing economy whenever possible, especially with household items and clothes. 

I live in the Yahara River watershed. Something interesting about the watershed is that it is a chain of multiple lakes that are all connected.
