I am staying in the Eastern party of India- Kolkata, West Bengal. It's April end and it is raining heavily here! Do you recall that few years back- we had proper seasons. But now, it can pour anytime of the year. Same is with few other parts of the country. This change is because of us; we are not taking care of Our Mother Earth. So why will...

We just celebrated Earth Day and this gave me more enthusiasm to achieve my goals. Over the weekend, met some friends and family and shared my thoughts on what this challenge is about and i am so glad that i could spread awareness.

The reason to join this challenge is to bring the change and do whatever i can as an individual. At times, we know things that should be done but dont know the right path or how to do. This challenge gives us a direction on what can we do to bring the change. I try to ccok zero waste meals (salads with veggies that can be consumed with skin),...

A plant has his own fragrance - be it a fruit , a flower or even a vegetable. The more it grows, the bigger it gets and spreads. Relate it with humans- the more you see plants around, the more fresh and cool you will feel. Imagine yourself amidst a deep forest and then in a desert. Hope you got your answer now.....

I had always been close to nature and gardening is something which always attracted me since childhood. In India, when "Swachta Abhyan" was initiated- a program to keep India clean, i volunteered multiple times in my city joining the media partners to spread awareness and convince people to do their bit. I was on-air on the radio for...

At times, we know things but just need a little push to make things happen. Isn't it? For ex. i need to lose weight or eat healthy but when my organisation conducts a 10k steps challenge or something similar, i get motivated , especially when friends join in. This Ecochallenge has made us do small things for the community and has made us to...

How can 4 walls make you explore things? We need to go beyond the boundaries to see what's going around. Spending time outdoors will make you think through things in different ways- mirage? i went to a "Goshala" - a cow shelter, nearby and i realised just a few minutes walk leads to a new temple

Staying put makes you dull, lethargic and eventually might affect mental health in longer run. we all have gone through this phase during Covid Lockdown and Peaks. When you go out, you meet different people, you connect with nature and more importantly you feel fresh, active and full of energy. If you do not agree or unable to connect to my...

Mindfulness to me is giving time to myself. Practicing meditation; if possible in fresh air - outdoors. This also includes exercising, yoga and Om chanting.

Tried salad with tomatoes, cucumber with skin and paneer (home-made).
