I use to use all parts of the vegetable (skins, peels, stalks) - to cook a vegetable stock. You need to drain through a strainer the stock and then freeze it for the next usage. or I use "re-usable" vegetables - some kind of vegetables can able grown again and you can use them for the second usage - like put the top of celery, parsley...

 I will freeze wilt fruits and vegetables and then I will use them in smoothies, soups and stews at a later date. I will buy funny-looking produce (fruits and vegetables) to help use up food that might otherwise be thrown out as waste

In our plant, we are changing the usage of cups in our coffee machines automates during April - if our employees will use own or Klauke cup you will have a coffee or any hot drink cheaper. 

Instead of plastic bags, I use my linen reusable bag
